She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Joseph Evans and Raymond D. Ashby; her sons, Joseph W. Evans and Timothy Evans; her grandson Billy Keith Evans; her great grandchild Ravyn Finch; and her siblings, Chuck Thomas, Ed Thomas, Estelle Lilly and Annabelle McLaren.
She is survived by: her children, Cheri Backus (Dennis) of Huntland, Kecia Liles of Tullahoma, Karin L. Ashby of Tucson, Kris Ashby of Bethlehem and Charles Ashby (Stephanie) of Henderson; and her siblings, Jim Thomas, Terry Thomas (Sherry), George Thomas (Jeanette) of Oak Grove and Joan Hett (Vic) of Kenai. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital located at 501 St.Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
