He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Posey and Nova E. Posey (Burks); and his siblings, Jimmy Posey, Kathryn Dudley and Cynthia Posey.
He is survived by: his siblings, Billy Posey (Peggy) of Winchester, Carolyn Matthews (Bill) of Calhoun, Georgia, Barbara Sisk of Scottsboro and Teresa Butler of Belvidere. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that all attendees please wear a mask and keep six feet apart for social distancing.
