He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smothers; his stepchildren, Walter Smothers of Tiptonville and Kim Carroll (Bobby) of Huntingdon; his grandson Cody Carroll; his sister Denise Orr (Jimmy) of Gibson; and his nieces, Jessica Heather Hill of Lagrange and Ericka Denise Hill of Puerto Rico.
