He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Markle and Helen Mae Wagner; his wife Raye Gloria Markle; and his granddaughter Brittany Markle. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Markle (Melissa) of Stoverstown and John Markle II (Holly) of Yorkana, Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Brock Markle, Kathryn Landis and Alexander Markle. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
