James Elma Holmes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Elma Holmes of Huntingdon, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lallie Ellen Cannon and Charlie Oscar Holmes; his wife Mary Jo Holmes; and his brothers, Arthur Mitchell Holmes, Charles Cannon Holmes and Aaron Glover Holmes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki Myers of Huntingdon and Phyllis Todd (Bob) of Jackson, Tennessee; his grandchildren, James Myers (Michelle), Emily Myers and Eric Todd (Brooke); and his great grandchildren, Noah Myers, Cole Myers, Shea Myers, Natalie Todd and Olivia Todd.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Dilday-Carter Funeral Home (650 High St, Huntingdon, TN 38344). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
