James Darnall Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025, at the age of 87, James Darnall of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ed Darnall and Oletha Enochs Darnall; his wife Wilma Darnall; and his son Mitchell Darnall. He is survived by: his sons, Joey Darnall (Krista) and Jimmy Darnall (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Lainie Darnall, Braylin Dearmon, Tyler Darnall, Michael Darnall and Joe David Hillard.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Huntingdon Church of Christ (18900 W Main St, Huntingdon, TN 38344).
