He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Meggs and Ola Patterson Meggs; his brothers, Johnny Meggs and Wayne Meggs; and his grandson Jeramie Redmond.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Evelyn "Polly" Meggs; his children, Teresa Robbins (Kenneth) of Camden and David Taylor (Teresa) of Medina; his sisters, Debbie Bunn (Darrell) of McKenzie and Sara Glisson of Huntingdon; his sister-in-law Deborah Meggs of Huntingdon; his brothers, Randy Meggs (Jenean) of Huntingdon and Bobby Meggs (Ruby) of Huntingdon; and his grandchildren, Josh Taylor (Erin), Cody Taylor, Brittany Barner, April Gately (Ricky), Jack Redmond (Nicole) and Jeremy Robbins (Carrie). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
