He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Davis and Herbert E. Bennett; his former wife Ruth Bennett; his wife Aliene Bennett; his brothers, Paul Bennett, Wayne Bennett and Yates Bennett; and his stepsons, Yates Bennett Jr. and Charles Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Holmes (Pat) of Iowa, Lonnie Bennett of Hollow Rock and Ronald (Brenda) of Hollow Rock; his sister Virginia Smith of Huntingdon; his stepchildren, Ann Coleman (Dennis) of McKenzie, Carl Bennett (Marsha) of Arizona, Scott Bennett (Pam) of Huntingdon, Clint Bennett (Stacey) of Alabama and Susan Bennett of McKenzie; his grandchildren, Teressa Smith (Andrew) of Hollow Rock, Bethany Coleman (Johney) of Hollow Rock and Doug Holmes of Iowa; his great grandchildren, Kassidy Pace, Tyler Pace, Justin Haskins, Caleb Haskins, Peyton Ellis, Paige Coleman, Paris Coleman and Logan Smith; and his great great grandchildren, Clara, Claudia, Lana and Charlie. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
