He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Allen Carnell and Ludie Edna Carnell (Spain); his sister Louise Horn; and his son Dennis Allen Carnell. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Carnell; his son Donald L. Carnell (Becky) of Horn Lake; and his stepson Danny Ray Mitchell (Pat) of Trezevant. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home (21190 E Main St, Huntingdon, TN 38344). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home (21190 E Main St, Huntingdon, TN 38344).
