She was predeceased by: her parents, E. J. Peterson and Jessie Lee Perkins-Peterson; her husband Arthur J. Collins; her brother Maurice Peterson; and her grandson William Harris.

She is survived by: her children, Christopher Peterson, Sr. (Angel) of St. Louis, MO, Dana Peterson of Trenton, TN and Katrinka Nance of Murfreesboro, TN; her siblings, Mary Smith of Memphis, TN, Valerie Coleman of Trenton, TN and Daniel Thompson (Jalisa) of Trenton, TN; her child Aqunetta Peterson of Humboldt, TN; her grandchildren, Tamika Batton, Kevin Dobbins, Chaz Rodriguez Sr. (Falancie), Kevoria McNair, Karis, Tahj Haley Sr., Lauren Stomp (Joshua), Ra'Recca Peterson-Taylor, Ta'Terri, Christopher Peterson Jr., Ta'Nay Milan, Clayton Peterson, Tyle Fields, Ta'jah Haley and De'Andrez Belew; and her nieces, Sharon Smith and Marion Agnew of Memphis, TN.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends.

Private immediate family services, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, for Ms. Sundra Collins, will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Martin Tabernacle in Trenton, TN.
