She was predeceased by: her father Jesse Helton; her son O'Neil King; her sisters, Mae Branch and Etta Whitmore; and her grandson Monte McCoy.
She is survived by: her daughter Ann McCoy Smith of Humboldt, Tennessee; her grandson Brad McCoy (Tonya) of Humboldt, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Seth Buchanan and Keely Buchanan; and her great great grandchildren, Lincoln and Scarlett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
