He is survived by: his wife Kay Glisson Schang; his children, Suzanne Birmingham (Fred) and John C. Schang; and his siblings, George of Chicago, Patrick (JoEllen) of Tampa, FL and Patricia Feely of Pensacola, FL. He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
