He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Jackson Hill and Laddie Hill; his brother Roy Hill; his wife Louise; his sister Mary Jane Scott; and his children, Nerissa Bright (John), Eddie Hill (Connie) and Ray Hill (Dana). He was also cherished by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be sent to the Memphis Firefighters Association Local 1784.
