He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Maxine Whiteside and Floyd "Titt" Brooks; and his brothers, Robert James Whiteside (Annie) of Alamo, TN, Hugh Lee Whiteside and Anthony Steven Whiteside.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Whiteside; his children, Marcus Boykin (Michele) of Lexington, TN, Shun Whiteside, Terrinyhain Whiteside (Koritha) of Denver, CO, Gaila Cole of Jackson, TN, Danny Whiteside Jr. of Humboldt, TN, Kenya Whiteside of Humboldt, TN and Keith Whiteside of Humboldt, TN; his siblings, Carl Whiteside (Betty) of Southhaven, MS, Michael Whiteside (Lynda) of Goose Creek, SC, Samuel Brooks (Margret) of Portland, OR, Timmy Whiteside of Alamo, TN, Sandra Whiteside Dupree of Alamo, TN and Regina Henderson of Jackson, TN; his siblings-in-law, David Reed (Faye) of Humboldt, TN, Jesse Reed (Dorothy) of Illinois, Albert Reed (Oppie) of Humboldt, TN, Lonnie Reed of Humboldt, TN, Bertha Williams of Humboldt, TN, Clementine Whiteside, Joshlyn Whiteside of Memphis, TN and Patricia Whiteside of Jacksonville, FL; and his aunts, Shirley Brooks, Molly Brooks and Athea Brooks. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
Private immediate family services, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, for Mr. Danny Whiteside, will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Harris Grove Cemetery in Alamo, TN.
