She is survived by: her husband Lonnie Slates; her sons, Marco Mays, Lemont Hunt and John Warlick; her siblings, Janice Migett, Glady Byrid (Mays), Diana Kidd, Arnita Cook (Bobby), Shirley Cruz, Roy Mays, Willie Mays, Sammy Mays and Robert Lee Mays Jr.; and her grandchildren, Tez, Malik, Keylon, Keil, Marco Mays Jr., JaQuze, Makayla, Jamire, Takhia, Zariah, Elijah, Nyasia, Jaheim, Shay, Olivia, Angel, Moncello, Julia, Kylie, John Warlick Jr., Sky and Jaylen Warlick.
Private immediate family services, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, for Mrs. Clarice Slate, will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Baskerville Funeral Home in Humboldt, TN.
