With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Burnice Kurhon Privitt of Humboldt, Tennessee, who passed away on August 14, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Privitt and Rosa Privitt; his former wife Lucille Privitt; his wife Bertha Privitt; his siblings, Eva Privitt, Irene Ellington, Raymond Privitt, J. D. Privitt, Morris Privitt, Earl Privitt and Lloyd Privitt; his daughter Patricia Crews; his daughter-in-law Julia Privitt; his son Larry Gorman; and his stepchildren, Margie Duncan, Carol Blackburn and Ronnie Lovell.
He is survived by: his sons, Barry Privitt (Laverne) and Steven Privitt; his stepchildren, Leon Lovell, Terry Lovell, Diane Scruggs, Sandy Walski, Lisa Cruthcfield and Linda Gage; and his grandchildren, Paula Jones, Angel Barnes, Christy Crews, Sammy Crews, Chad Crews, Deanna Privitt, Dylan Privitt and Jana Privitt. He is also survived by nephews, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
