She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Thomas Burns and Bertha Lee Williams Burns; her son Jeremy Edward Lane; her sister Deborah Elaine Maddox; and her brother-in-law John Mingledorff.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Edward Lane of Jackson, TN; her daughters, Shelia Gillespie (Scott) of Trenton, TN and Jamie Babb (Drew) of Martin, TN; her siblings, Alfred Burns of Jackson, TN and Phyllis Mingledorff of Jackson, TN.; her grandchildren, Kelley Gillespie, Brook Gillespie, Kayla Winston, McKenzie Babb and Madelyn Babb; and her great grandchildren, Kylie Sands, Landon Sands and Lakelyn Goad.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bells Funeral Home (5342 College St, Bells, TN 38006). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Bells Funeral Home (5342 College St, Bells, TN 38006). A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ridgecrest Cemetery (200 Ridgecrest Rd, Jackson, TN 38305).
