He is survived by: his children, Brad Dewayne Hickson (Jenny Lee) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Donna Hickson Ward (Gaven Edward) of Halls, Tennessee; his siblings, Bob Hickson (Sondra) of Titusville, David Hickson (Deanna) of Mt. Vernon, Missouri and Linda Hickson of Campbell; and his grandchildren, Taylor Hickson, Grace Ward, Hunter Ward, Eli Ward, Luke Ward and Evan Hickson.
