It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Currin (Hollow Rock, Tennessee), born in Greenfield, Tennessee, who passed away on September 15, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Everett "Tarpin" Currin; her daughter Debra Currin Ashby; her siblings, John Thomas Ray, Jo Jenkins and Jean McClure; and her former husband Eldon Hampton.
She is survived by: her brother Pajama Factory; her son Stanley Ray Currin (Suzanne) of McKenzie; her sisters, Shirley Caudle of Greenfield and Linda Bevis (Glenn) of Florence; her grandchildren, Betsy Currin Davis (Anthony), Heather Currin Moore (Matthew) and Bradley Morris Ashby (Jennifer) of Huntingdon; her great grandchildren, Stephen Anthony Davis, Taylor Nicole Davis, Tyler Everett Davis, Sydney Lynn Davis, Ryleigh Faith Davis, Liam Wilder Moore and Hunter Edward Ashby; and her stepson Gary Hampton (Wanda) of Hollow Rock. She is also survived by two step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
