He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Judy Hoke; his wife Jane Spears of Hohenwald, TN; his daughter Tina Gauthier (Ken) of Hohenwald, TN; and his grandchildren, Ryan Hoke, Casey Hoke and Kyle Huffman.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to the Lewis County Cancer Victims Fund.
