He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Himes and Martha Whitehead Himes; his siblings, Lonnie Himes, Jeff Himes, Lucille Himes, Sheila Davis and Rachel Himes; and his nephew Ronnie Himes.
He is survived by: his wife Malissa Runions Himes of Hohenwald; his sisters, Mary Lester (Jim) of Murfreesboro, Ann Morton of Madison and Judy Watson of Columbia; and his pets, Max, Shadow, Becky and Troubles. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
