She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leroy and Ruth Keaton (Spellings) of Milan; and her son-in-law Charles Elliott "Shane" Newbold III. She is survived by: her children, Becky Jane Newbold, Hulon O. Dunn Jr. (Valaurie), Walton L. Dunn of Hohenwald and Robert A. Dunn (Jessica) of Pegram; her siblings, Nancy Tucker, Elizabeth Ownby of Milan and John L. Keaton (Elaine) of Albuquerque; and her brother-in-law William Sherrell Dunn (Phoebe) of Augusta, Georgia.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
