He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William "Billy" Duncan and Martha Millsap; his grandparents, Charles Wesley Duncan and Rena Claudine Duncan; and his sister Donna Kay Duncan.

He is survived by: his wife Rita Jane Duncan; his sons, Robert Scott Duncan (Kay) and Wesley Adam Duncan (Tiana); his siblings, James Wesley Duncan of Comanche, TX, Linda Nell Braziel, Mary Simmons (Mike) of Hohenwald, Barbara Abels of DeLeon, TX and Rose Gober of Gatesville, TX; his grandchildren, Brett Cameron (Laiklyne Gatlin), Chelsea Cotham (Jeremy), Austin Duncan, Anna Kate Duncan, Avalanae Duncan and Champion Duncan; and his great grandchildren, Aubree Cotham, Abel Cotham, Hadley Houston, Jax Cameron and Haze Cameron. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
