He is survived by: his wife Margaret Cagney of Dublin Ireland; his children, Mark Simpson (Lois), Yvonne Craig (Edward) of Hixson and David Simpson (Leza) of Signal Mountain; his grandchildren, Lauren Hall (David) of Knoxville, Connor Simpson of Newcastle, WA, Kathleen Martin (Adam) of Madison, AL, Daniel Craig of Warner Robins, GA, Hannah Simpson of Brooklyn, NY and Lizzy Simpson of Nashville, TN; his great grandchildren, John David "Jack" Hall of Knoxville, TN and Ken Martin of Madison, AL; and his siblings, Donna Broach of Florence, SC, Patsy Yarber of Clinton, TN, Dwight (Donna Simpson), John (Marilu Simpson), Joyce Simpson of Athens, TN, Don Carlos, Jr. (Diane Simpson), James (Rikki Simpson), Rev. Charles (Lynn Simpson) and Alberta (Rick Terwillger).
