Uburn C Puryear Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2023, at the age of 91, Uburn C Puryear Jr. of Hixson, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Coleen Wicks Puryear; his parents, U. C. Puryear and Helen Burnette Puryear; his siblings, Charles, Howard and Bobbie Headrick (Billie Bailey); and his granddaughter Amy Michelle Puryear.

He is survived by: his children, Tammy Puryear (Jo) and Randy Puryear; his siblings, Carl Puryear and Vera Burdette; his grandchildren, Katie (Chris), Krista, Jason, Andy (Jessica) and Adam; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Caden, Jayden and Jayce.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Greater Chattanooga Christian Services, or Hospice of Chattanooga.
