With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tina Underwood of Hixson, Tennessee, who passed away on January 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Phillips and Viola Phillips; and her son Dr. James Gardner Jr. (Tina). She is survived by: her husband James Newman; her children, Shawn Williams (Karen), Valda Pollard (Jeff), Carmia Gardner, Kathy Hixson (Johnny) and Angela Newman; and her pet Sugar.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center (8911 Dallas Hollow Rd, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel (8911 Dallas Hollow Rd, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hamilton County Memorial Park (8900 Dallas Hollow Rd, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379).
