He is survived by: his significant other Patsy Beene; his daughter Debra Anne Shumaker (David) of Bristol, Tennessee; his grandson Joshua Shumaker (Emily) of Alexandria, Virginia; and his great grandchildren, Theodore and June. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
