She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Lewis and Lillie Lewis; and her siblings, Iris Carter, Billie Henderson and John H. Lewis, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Jim Alexander; her children, Woody Riggs (Debbie) and Cherie Beckett (Tim); her sister Jan Shockley (Phillip); and her grandchildren, Ian Beckett, Amanda Miranda (Pedro) and Alex Sinclair (Scott). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center (8911 Dallas Hollow Rd, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org) or the Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org/donate) in Sandra's honor.
