It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Michael Hamby Sr. of Hixson, Tennessee, who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Herral and Virginia Catherine Hamby; his mother-in-law Dorothea Broome; and his cousin Lynn Jessie. He is survived by: his close friends, Rick Chestnutt and Dale McLeod; his wife Polly Ann Broome Hamby; his children, Alex Hamby (Lorin), Ben Hamby (Jennifer), Robert Michael Hamby, Jr. and Katie Hamby; his grandchildren, Ian, Autumn, Audrey, Rawlston, Sutton and Cullen; his sister Carolyn Livingood (Richard); his brothers-in-law, Skip Broome (Lisa), Eddie Broome and Tim Broome (Susan); and his aunt Evelyn Hamby. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
