He was predeceased by: his parents, John T Sheets and Barbara Sheets. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Scott Sheets and Raymond Dale Sheets; his grandson Hunter Memphis Sheets; and his brothers, Tom Sheets and Jim Sheets. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
