She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Newsom and Irene Newsom; her siblings, Herman "Shorty" Newsom and Nyoka Harvey; and her son Jamie Rotella Williams.
She is survived by: her husband John H. Williams, Jr.; her sons, Tinky Williams (Terri) and Robin Gill Williams (Darlene); and her sisters, Wanda McCullom (Johnny), Marsha Hartman (Chuck) and Carol Smith (Danny). She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home (601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
