It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Geraldine Lewis of Hixson, Tennessee, born in Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thorne and Minnie Thorne; and her siblings, Jimmy Thorne and Shirley Williams. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Glenn Lewis; her sons, John DeWayne Rhudy and Michael Alvin Rhudy; her stepchildren, James Todd Lewis and Terri Siever; and her sister Henrietta Watson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
