We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2025, at the age of 81, Michael Gross of Hixson, Tennessee, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Everett and Hill of Hixson; his brother-in-law George Williams of Durham, NC; and his grandparents, Chester Ulus, Ida Legg Gross of Red Bank, Paul and Hannah June Daniker of Hixson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Gross; his daughters, Kristin Starnes of Marietta and Jennifer Reading (Patrick) of Hixson; his granddaughters, Hannah McElheney (Connor) of Royal Oak, Madison Delaney of Chattanooga and Ashlynne Delaney of Hixson; his great grandchild Wilder McElheney; his sister Carol Williams of Durham, NC; his sisters-in-law, Janine, Margie, Faye and Pam; and his friend Dr. Jeffrey Kemp. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home & Cremation Services (4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chattanooga Memorial Park (501 Memorial Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37415).
