She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladstone Sloan and Euna Bell Dodd; and her husband Ray Gravitt. She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia Ward (Bobby), Donna Morrison (Bobby) and Nancy Witherspoon (Eric); her grandchildren, Jason, Neal Joyner, Mary, Samuel and Hugh Witherspoon; and her great grandchild Jayla Joyner. She is also survived by her family, her grandchildren and great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the North Chapel (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
