Martha Jean Evans Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Jean Evans of Hixson, Tennessee, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Anderson and Edith Marie King Anderson; her husband Cleon Evans; her children, Shelia Wilkes and Daryl Lee; and her siblings, Dillard, Bill, Clyde, Robert, Claude Anderson, Aileen Anderson and Betty Ratcliff.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer; her son-in-law Bengy Davis of Baxley, GA; her son Charles Lee of Madisonville; and her sisters, Joyce Sweet (Alvin) of Chattanooga, Barbara Jarvis (Don) of Hixson and Janet Kennedy (Jim) of Hixson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Harmony Cemetery.
