She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry "Clint" Whisonant and Eunice Whisonant; and her daughter Debbie Casten. She is survived by: her husband William E. "Bill" Barber; her children, Jennifer Sjoberg (Jim) of Athens, Tennessee and Jim Barber (Claudeen) of Signal Mountain, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Christina Marie Sjoberg (Trey Ivins), Adrian Casten and Clint Barber.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
