Joseph Lawrence Sharp Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Lawrence Sharp of Hixson, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sharp and Clara Hughes Sharp; and his wife Elsie Swafford Sharp. He is survived by: his children, Bobby Sharp (Angie) and Melinda Shipley; his grandchildren, Ashley Ager (Matthew), Leann Hayes, Kristen Presley (Junior) and Kiowa Temple; his great grandchildren, Elsie, Isla Ager, Elaina Dixon and Adaline Dowden; his sister Louise Barnes (Euell); and his sister-in-law Mildred Sharp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home and Cremation Services (45506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens (5351 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
