He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oliver and Odessa June Cordell; and his siblings, Larry Cordell and Mary Frances Harden. He is survived by: his wife Linda Blanks Cordell; his sons, Rodney Cordell and Michael Cordell (Kimber); his grandchildren, Gage and Kami Cordell; his great grandchildren, Jenny Cordell and Charlee Cordell; his siblings, Carroll (Betty), Ray (Karen), Oliver (Donna), Margie Brown and Alberta Stepp; and his sister-in-law Jackie Cordell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
