He was predeceased by: his parents, Kerryn Clark Carpenter, Sr. and Alice Leona Boyd Carpenter; his son David Clark Carpenter; and his brothers, Kerryn "K. C." Carpenter, Jr. and Robert Adams Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Green Carpenter of Hixson, Tennessee; his daughters, Tammie Carpenter of Hixson and Elizabeth Ford (Brooks) of Varnell, Georgia; his granddaughter Jessica Elizabeth Lyons; his great grandchild Zeke Johnson of Hixson; his granddaughter Jordan Scott Lyons (Robby Bidelman); his great grandchildren, Summer, Eva Bidelman and Aden Bidelman of Ooltewah, Tennessee; his sister-in-law Julia Russell Carpenter of Madison, Mississippi; and his nieces and nephews, Clark Carpenter (Gayden) of Madison, Mississippi, Robin Francke (Eric) of Mabelton, Bonnie Farrar (Keith) of Tupelo, Mississippi, Mike Green (Sue) of Tallahassee, FL, Randy Wells (Laura) of Starkville, MS, Bill Green (Jennifer) of Los Angeles, CA, Greg Ford (Janette) of Louisville, KY, Lisa Higginbotham (Blake) of Dermott, AR, Darlene Herndon (David) of Sneeds, FL, Linda Ajhar (Chris) of Tallahassee, FL and Sherry Burns (Greg) of LaGrange, GA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Burton Funeral Home (634 US-82, Indianola, MS 38751). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Southside Cemetery.
