He was predeceased by: his wife Kathrine Boren (Whisnett); and his parents, Everett Monroe Boren and Charlsie Marie Boren (Johnson). He is survived by: his son Samuel Boren; his siblings, Ronald Boren (Ruby), Larry Boren (Susan) and Diane Patton (Doug); and his friend Diane Sexton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
