He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie McDaniel and Herbert McDaniel; and his siblings, Virginia Hamilton, Martha McDaniel, Peggy Muse and Ray McDaniel.

He is survived by: his daughter Angela; his son-in-law Chris Chambers; his grandchildren, Cooper and Chloe; his brother Fred; and his sister-in-law Barbara McDaniel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
