He was predeceased by: his parents, B. Frank Cofer and Ann Williamson Cofer; and his brother William David Cofer. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia M. Cofer; his son Jimmy Cofer (Heidi); his grandchildren, Trace Cofer and Keatyn Cofer; and his siblings-in-law, Sheila, Rick Ingram, Sandi and Alex Nelson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
