It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Wilson (Hixson, Tennessee), born in Woodville, Alabama, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesse Andrew and Elgie Estill Wilson (Hodges); his wife Myra Averett; his children, Carmen Peace (Jim), David (Kelly) and Zach; his grandchildren, Emily Peace Cline (Matt), Jake, Kevin Wilson, Andrew Peace (Megan) and Luke Wilson; and his great grandchildren, Wilson Cline and Maddox Peace. He was also cherished by numerous other family members and dear friends.
