It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Foree Sledge Jr. (Hixson, Tennessee), who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Mary K. Ford Sledge; his children, Lisa Newell (Billy) and Herman F. Sledge, III (Sherry); his grandchildren, Beth Newell, Casey Newell (Sydra) and Herman F. Sledge, IV (Mindy); his great grandchildren, Madeline Rose Sledge, Jade Sophia Newell, Grayson Foree Fredrick Sledge and Bristol Tate Sledge; his sisters, Donna Serena, Elizabeth Tate and Laverne Wallace; and his children, Dr. Brenda Ross, Wayne Orr, Sallie McDonald and Drew McDonald.
