Hazel Barnette Lane Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hazel Barnette Lane of Hixson, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bryan Lane; her parents, Lawrence Barnette and Alice Barnette; and her brothers, Charlie Barnette (Oval), Lester Barnette (Pug) and Frank Barnette.
She is survived by: her son Dr. James Lane (Marie); her grandchildren, Dr. Elizabeth Lane (Max Marlowe) and Christopher Lane (Kelly); and her caregivers, Debbi, Linda, Pam, Janice and Jessica. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Bethel Bible Village or Hixson First Baptist Church or to a charity of their choice.
