He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gust Rudnik, Sr. and Katherine Koontz Rudnik; his wife Betty Ann Sterrett Rudnik; his siblings, Wilbert, Harry, Edward, Richard Rudnik, Sr., Evelyn Gesche and Edith Wilson; his son Brad Rudnik; and his sister Helen Rudnik.
