She was predeceased by: her mother Dora Lee Caldwell; her siblings, Virginia Reed, Janie White, Billie Johnson, Glenn Williams and Donnie Williams; and her great grandchild Zola Freeman.

She is survived by: her husband Donald Freeman; her children, Janice Davis, Donna Freeman and Donald Ray Freeman Jr.; and her sisters, Shirley Samaneigo, Joyce King and Marilyn Steakley. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 grandchildren.
