With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Joanne Grogan Harmon of Hixson, Tennessee, born in Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar Ward Harmon; her son Paul Berkley Harmon; and her parents, Bynum McCoy and Clara Shell Grogan. She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Chastain (Jeff); her grandchildren, Randi Chambers and Ryan Chastain (Teanna); and her great grandchildren, Luke Chambers, Coraline Chambers and Gavin Harmon.
