It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Labron Meroney of Hixson, Tennessee, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on October 25, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Meroney and Mary Freeman Meroney; and his sister Brenda. He is survived by: his daughters, Samantha Meroney and Mary Meroney of Hixson; his son-in-law Richard Diaz; his son Bobby Stewart, Jr. of Daytona Beach; his daughter-in-law Lisa Stewart; his son Tim Meroney of Hixson; his siblings, Karen of Harrison and Tommy of Hixson; his half-sisters, Jean Doyal of Chattanooga and Lynda Roberts of Chattanooga; his grandchildren, Katie, Sadie, Tyler, Sieara, Hannah and Isaac; and his pets, Luna and Bailey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
