With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Don R. Stephenson Jr. of Hixson, Tennessee, born in Sheffield, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 16, 2024 at the age of 87. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Don leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Don may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Don R. Stephenson, Sr. and Hallie Adams Stephenson. He is survived by: his wife Diane Wilcoxen Stephenson; his sons, Donald Ragan Stephenson IV and William Thomas Stephenson; his daughters-in-law, Emily Stephenson and Donna Stephenson; and his grandchildren, Hallie Stephenson, Fiona Stephenson, Frank Stephenson and Beau Stephenson.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Ch (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
